Opening Weekend: a Runaway Hit!

Staging Old Masters is a hit! We sold out all four Saturday and Sunday shows, then added (and promptly sold out) an additional Sunday matinee. Audiences packed in to the Pulitzer’s gallery space saw movement pieces and art history, true-life stories and imagined scenes, paintings restaged as theater, raps and Gregorian chant. Thanks very much to everyone—Pulitzer patrons, art and theater lovers, students from Washington University and St. Louis University, friends and family of actors—who helped make our first two days of performances a success.

Tickets are free but are not available in advance, so we encourage anyone interested in attending to arrive at the Pulitzer (directions here) at least a half hour early. Performances will be held on Saturdays at 6:30 and 7:30pm, and Sundays at 1:30 and 2:30pm, through May 3. (View our full schedule here.)
